A friend of mine closed her page for a while and deleted all of her friends.?

All attempts to re-invite have failed and her friends cannot invite her either. Any suggestions as to why this process is failing and what can be done to repopulate the friends list?

  1. If her page is still closed, this will cause it to happen.

  2. The reason you are having so many problems with your 360 account is ..

We are losing our Yahoo 360 accounts very soon according to the Yahoo product blog you can access by going to this link:

    http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360

There are many problems that will not be fixed by Yahoo on the 360, and they are getting worse each passing day.

I urge you to go to the product blog and read the information for the last three postings by yahoo about all of the changes that are coming to us soon.

  3. If she deleted all her friends and set her permissions for invitations to "Friends of Friends", then there's no one that can invite her. You will get the "not accepting invites at this time" message at best. If not, she could be ignoring them if she's not down with this "repopulation". She should restore her invitation settings to "Everyone in 360" (if age 18 and over) and/or be the one to invite her friends back (rather than the other way around).

Yet there is a glitch happening with invitations right now. Often Yahoo burps up messages and invitations that should have been received long ago. There's nothing you can do about it, except wait and hope the problem resolves itself. Problems receiving (and sending) invitations and messages have happened before. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f... for more details on 360 glitches.

Basically, you probably should wait until this glitch passes before trying to do this repopulation because she's probably not receiving the invitations.

NOTE: Yahoo! 360 is transitioning to a new system in the second half of 2008. Click on the "Yahoo!360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space or go to http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. However, the Y!360 team is no longer addressing 360 glitches.
