A friend of mine is travelling Europe in a motorhome indefinitely. Can anyone recommend travel / health cover?

They will be visiting a number of countries in the motorhome, strictly within Europe and will stay at some and move on from some. They are looking for cost effective yet decent travel and health cover. They have no fixed address, UK or otherwise.

Mmmm, the E111 form, no longer actually exists, and has been replaced by the 'European Health Insurance Card'...check this out on; www.nhs.co.uk.....it can be applied for online, and its usually sent out within a couple of days.

Also, this card only covers basic healthcare, and does not cover for any loss etc.

Try searching for travel insurance on;

www.moneysupermarket.com

They should be able to find a policy that will cover them, and also, i have found that this site offers some very good rates. As they are travelling, rather than staying in one place, they would be better looking for a fairly comprehensive travel insurance policy.

They could use your address and their home base while traveling throughout Europe.... I am assuming you are in the UK?

Where are they originating from? They are flying to Europe or currently are in Europe?

how about the free one...?  go to the Post Office & pick up a form...being European we are all entitled to this free health insurance.  not sure if it is called an E11 form?
