  1. wine colors..okay red or white?  no really...

I'd first choose a beautiful deep rich gem tone of purple-red-maroon like a rich Cabernet.  Then I'd go with a rich creamy off white, no not for the chardonnay, but just because it will balance the deep maroon.  Then a nice sagey (light) green and a hunter (dark, forest) green. If you can find a nice compliment to the maroon a lighter shade almost rose, then I'd add that one, other wise add in a rich yellowy grey neutral.

Be aware that the textures of different yarns can make for nice combination in a crocheted blanket as well and you don't have to make them all the same yarn.  Just one more thought.

  2. I have a blanket that is red and beige and it looks great.

Not sure of the other 1 to 3 colors that would look good together.

    Good luck

  3. deep red/maroon

    vine green

    robust purple

    creme

    :-)

    have fun and good luck!!

  4. burgandy, dark green, biege, black

  5. wine, pink ,soft green, ivory,  lilac.

  6. black, cream, pale pink, green, brown. a lot of colors would go. find your wine color and then go from there. you could find a multi colored yarn with the wine in it

  7. My Mom did a blanket in wine, Deep green and cream. I am not sure what else would look good with those colors, maybe a lighter shade of the wine and green, but those three definately looked good together.
