Question:

A friend used another persons car and it is NOT registered....?

They got pulled over because of a blown headlight and had to show registration, but it's not their car and it's not registered they got a ticket and are supposed to show up for court. Who is responsible for the ticket? Would it be my friend or the person who owns the car? Also do you think there will be jail time? Or a certain amount of time for them to show proof of registration?

  1. Who was the ticket handed to?  Who is being told to show up in court?  That would be the person responsible for the ticket.


  2. It is the drivers fault. It sucks sometimes but its the law. For jail time, NO, Fine Yes. As for time to get registration I dont know.
