A friend wants to start a collection of money from countries around the world,how does she get started?

She wants small denominations of bills or coins from as many countries as possible.

Try getting international Pen Pals.  If you ask for a small amount, and/or offer to pay, I.E:  here's a dollar, please send me the equivalent in YOUR currency.

When I checked Yahoo for international pen pals, here is the first line I got:

1 - 10 of about 1,380,000 for pen pals international - 0.17 sec.

So I am guessing that one out of a million web sites ought to have something to help.  Good Luck.
