Well i got to a technical high school and im in "graphic communications" and i really enjoy editing photos/making ads and website banners. If i go to college for this is there a decent future career? is it easy to get employed while in college studying to be a graphic designer, and is it easy to get a job once i do graduate from college? any idea what the pay would be like?

  1. It totally depends on you and where you live and such.  Most firms dont want you until youve finished your degree, but many will totally hire college students as interns with possibility of hiring upon completion.  Pay depends on what you do (what firms, what market, what clients, etc). I do a ton of freelance/contract work without working for a firm and its more than enought to live on. I like it because I work for myself, never have to "be at the office" by a certain time, and I pick my clients basically, so Im surrounded by people I like.
