  1. Send a registered letter to them asking them to make good within say thirty days or else you shall then take action through the small claims court.

  2. It is their responsibility to replace or repair.Talk to them and try to come to an agreement,if they are unresponsive tell them that you have sought legal advice and know your legal rights.

Some time ago I left a bike in to replace steering stem bearings and the mechanic hit the radiator with brake caliper. He phoned me up a few hours later to say that when he went out to collect bike their was a puddle of water under the bike and said I must have hit a stone(he even damaged grille covering fairing to make it look convincing),I couldn't look the mechanic in the eye or I would have ripped his head off,as if a stone had hit the rad when I was riding it would have belched steam everywhere, not waited until I got home and drip out. Some are chancers,Do not back down.

  3. Surely they are insured. Check with them

  4. their liability thats what they have insurance for

They could say the same if they accidentally killed someone.. Like Oooooooopps Sorry

Sorry does not cut it they damaged they pay no ifs, ands, or buts

  5. Oh no -- they damaged it they should replace it.

  6. I would check with trading standards - http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/

I would say that if they damaged it - they HAVE to replace it! Why should you have to replace something that someone else has broken!?

  7. You need to call your insurance company to check  if your wheels are covered i.e. they insured the bike on the road or against theft, but you only sent a part from the insured bike, you need to have a word with them then you can make your claim, goodluck.

  8. Depends on how the garage see it.. what rules hav they..? Will the ybe okai to fix or hav they some sort of terms where they cant be held responsible.. however you should be able to talk to them properly.. Good Luck howerver ya go abwt itt

  9. If I have some more time and energy to deal with this case,I would rather to use these time and energy to earn more money or to relax, not to spend more on this case. But if the wheels are expensive or you can't put up with the garage's attitude, you should show the evidence that can prove the garage had broken your wheels.

  10. They owe you a set of wheels! Take them to small claims court,or pay a solicitor to send them a letter.

  11. They are responsible! Insured or not. if they dont pay up make trouble dont take it as it is.
