Hello, I’m am 16 nearly 17, with an IQ of 132. my questions is this; if I picked up a Rubik’s cube for the first time in my life, and solved it, without any help from the guides you get when you buy the cube, does it mean I am a genius ?

P.s I solved the cube in about 10 minutes

  1. I would say so yes.

In my opinion if your IQ is 132, shouldn't you be clever enough to figure out your already a genius, as the average IQ is 100.

To get into Mensa your IQ has to be 124 or over.

  2. Rubik's cube is irreverent. You need an IQ of 140 to be classified as genius*

  3. it was one with the "arrows" on it , wasn`t it?      ;>)

  4. i wouldn't say you are a comeplete genius such as being able to find out a cure for cancer or anything of that such.. but i would say you are very smart :D

  5. Probably depends on a few factors such as:

What was the state of the rubik's cube? As in, was it only a few moves off? I assume it was a very randomly adjusted one though.

Being able to recognize patterns is not necessarily an ability that would qualify you as a genius.

Don't focus on your IQ. It is a meaningless number. The only people that IQ's matter to are mensa members and j**k***s that need reassurance they are smart. Anytime someone brings up their IQ to me I tune out whatever they have to say until I see an opportunity to end the conversation.
