I am due in Nov and really would like to get away with my husband before the baby comes. We got married in January, didn't have the time or money for a honeymoon and then became pregnant in Feb while on BC. (We thought we would have a year or so before even thinking about babies) Does anyone have any good ideas for a little weekend get away or any stories of what they did before baby came that is not too expensive?

  1. you should give to someone but please keep the baby cause god said is not good not to like babies

  2. If you have the money to, I would highly recommend it! One last getaway before baby comes will make great memories for you and your husband. My husband and I went on a cruise, but we had already had it planned before I got pregnant, but I remember it fondly as our last major vacation together. Now that we have our baby, I couldn't imagine taking a vacation without her! But trust me, it will be time together well spent. Once the baby comes, it's so hard to find time for each other in the first few months.

If you have a big city nearby that you could drive to for a weekend, maybe you could go and do some sight seeing. Or if you live near the mountains, get a cabin for the weekend and do a little sightseeing and a lot of relaxing. If you have a beach within driving distance, you could rent a cottage by the beach for a weekend and relax and enjoy the water. Even if you don't live near any of these things or they don't interest you, you could just go to a town nearby that is different from what you're used to and rent a room at a bed and breakfast.

I know many people who have taken "babymoons" prior to the baby coming and not one single couple regretted it! Life as you know it is about to change, so cherish these precious last days of "just the two of us." Congratulations on your marriage and new addition!

  3. a camping trip...it is romantic and inexpensive.  Go do that for a weekend and enjoy yourselves.

  4. It kind of depends on where you live, and what you could be close to. You don't want to risk flying when you are in your third trimester. Most airline companies will not allow you to travel without written consent from your OB.

  5. uh idiot above shes going to keep the baby... she just wants a vacation befor the baby comes... u should like take a road trip to somewhere u never been 2
