i went to sleep with my book in my hand because there was a power out. so i just put my book in my bed. later that night i woke up to something that was pounding on the under side of my bed.just below my back i went to sleep sweating and scared. my dog had no idea what had happended he didnt even bark he sat there in my room and just stared at my bed. i woke up again later and went about brushing my teeth and stuff. i came back in my room to make my bed and see that there was no book in my bed. it was set neatly on two shoe boxes a couple feet from my bed.it had placed the book on the boxes when i was sleeping. i think that it took my glasses too.i dont know where my glasses are now? is a ghost fooling with me? me and my family built this house.so im pretty sure no one died in it. and this is all going on in my room. what do i do?

is it a ghost ,? , my life guardian? what is it. i dont know if its helping me or just trying to scare me. should i try to cummunicate with it?

  1. I have to agree with TR in this case.

I think it is far more logical and reasonable to assume you had either a dream, or a hypnogogic hallucination and woke up without remembering.

The alternative is that an invisible creature with no physical mass violated all laws of physics by manipulating objects with physical mass.

Too many times people jump to the conclusion that something is a ghost, because they cant immediately explain it. All I am saying is take a few minutes and think about it with a rational mind before you jump onto the paranormal bandwagon.

  2. No you should not try to communicate with it. You should get your local minister or priest to get rid of it.

Beware a lot of people make the mistake of playing around with spiritual beings with no knowledge or understanding which is very dangerous indeed.

  3. My friend has the same problem! She can't seem to get the thing to stop! I've heard of pouring salt around the outside of the house and burning sage in every single room. My friend hasn't had any luck but it's probibally better to try the options that you hear than to live in a nightmare forever.

  4. Who you gonna call?  Ghost Busters!

  5. I totally believe in this stuff and my husband was visited by my late grandfather that he had never met.  And my husband does not believe in this stuff!  It took him a week to tell me because he was so freaked out about it!

It could be a late family member or friend contacting you.  Maybe there's some history with the ground that you built the house on too.

Don't be afraid of them.  I've been told to speak to them like you can actually see them.  Tell them " go away, you're bothering me!".  Sometimes it works, sometimes not.  Ghosts can be sneaky little things and they do love to play tricks!  My mother had a reading once and the lady mentioned my mother always hitting stop lights.  She said it was her father doing it just to be a little you-know-what.

Read books by Sylvia Browne.  I love her.  She's a really good psychic.

  6. It doesn't matter if you built the house it is what was on the land or whats buried on your land. Its probably a ghost letting you know that its there. Tell it that its dead & to go to the light.

  7. It's your dog - he wants to go out.

  8. I have been dealing with ghosts, spirits, apparitons and Poltergists since I was 5 year old.   I goes back 3 generations that I know of for sure and I have been taught how to deal with all types of different things throughout my whole life.  I now belong to an excellent Paranormal investigation Group.  I believe you as the same kinds of things happen here in my home.

You don't have to have had someone die in your home.  It is usually something that has to do with the land your house is built on.  It sounds very much like you are dealing with a small child who loves to play games like this with you.  My home is haunted and we have a little girl named Lillie who takes our things and hides them on us.  Your dealing with something that has not crossed over yet or may not know they have died.  All you need to do to get back your things is to use a stern voice and tell whoever it is to return the stuff within 5 minutes or there will be h**l to pay.

Then go about your business and you will find you things laid out in plan view where there is no chance of not seeing them.

This is how I deal with that exact sort of thing around here and it works.  Once I or another person in our house has their things returned we always say Thank-you, but don't do it again.  You have nothing to fear from this one as it just likes to play games on you and will not hurt you at all.

Your Guardian would not do this to you.

Just go ahead and try to communicate with it. It may need your help getting it to the other side so don't show any fear.  You have nothing to be afraid of.  I promise.

  9. maby u were dreaming

  10. I think this is clearly a case of you getting up in the middle of the night and not remembering it. This is hardly a rare occurrence -- people do it all the time. You could have even been sleepwalking and moved your book and eyeglasses. As far as the pounding, are you sure you weren't dreaming that?  And if you weren't, are you sure it just wasn't a back spasm?

I'm sorry, but I see nothing paranormal here.
