A glance at upcoming Formula One film Rush – Formula 1 news
Ron Howard, an American film director is directing a new movie named as Rush which will portray the lives of two of the most famous former Formula 1 drivers, James Hunt and Niki Lauda and their intense rivalry.
Chris Hemsworth, an Australian actor who has recently worked in Avengers is going to play the role of the British playboy, Hunt while the Spaniard, Daniel Bruhl who has acted in Inglourious b******s will be seen as Lauda.
The movie is going to be released in 2013 and will show the golden age of F1 racing and will take the audience back in 1970s. It will depict the thrilling true story of two of the world’s greatest drivers and the worst rivals in the history of the sport.
Moreover, it will not only be filmed on their on track enmity but will also reveal their personal lives off the track.
Furthermore, it will show the passion of the drivers where they want to achieve success and there is no shortcut for that plus there is no margin of making any kind of error as one small mistake can take the life away.
“Set against the s**y and glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing and portrays the exhilarating true story of two of the greatest rivals the world has ever witnessed handsome English playboy Hunt and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Lauda,” the official
synopsis stated. “Taking us into their personal lives on and off the track, Rush follows the two drivers as they push themselves to the breaking point of physical and psychological endurance, where there is no shortcut to victory and no margin for error. If
you make one mistake, you die.”
Besides, the movie will be shot in UK, Austria and Germany and will be released in September next year. Additionally, the race scenes in particular will be staged at Cadwell Park and Donington Park.
Over and above, there has been a lot of anticipation for the movie as everyone is keen to see the passionate British and Austrian opponents. Even though, there is still a long time in its release but the wait does worth it.
