A glimpse at Sebastian Vettel’s career with Red Bull Racing – Formula 1
Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel has been considered as one of the most talented drivers in F1 as he has won two world championship titles just at the age of 24.
Vettel joined Red Bull in 2009 and performed convincingly well throughout the season. He claimed first ever pole position for the Milton Keynes based team and came second in the drivers’ championship.
Later in 2010, he performed tremendously well even after facing some technical issues in his car. Moreover, he had a tough fight with his teammate, Mark Webber, nevertheless, he managed to claim five grands prix victories and emerged as the youngest ever F1 champion.
In 2011, he impressed everyone with his amazing performances and claimed his second consecutive championship title after completely dominating the season as he won 11 races and secured 15 pole positions.
The veteran German driver has not been able to dominate in the current season as compared to preceding one as the defending champions faced difficulties with their car’s design because of the changes in the rules and regulations by FIA.
Although, he struggled during the last pre-season test and few of the races this year, nonetheless, he is not feeling disappointed and is positively looking forward to win this year’s championship title.
In addition, he said that he has full faith in his team and they are trying their best to come up stronger in the forthcoming races so as to defend their title.
“Just because you know how to do it or you did it once or twice it's still a big challenge every year to win the championship,” he said. “Obviously this year has been very much up and down for most of us and there's still a lot of races to come so far there's nothing that speaks against the fact that it will stay unpredictable and hard to know on Thursday or Friday what will happen on Sunday, and hard to know at the beginning of the race what's going to happen in the last ten laps, so it's very exciting for us.”
It will be interesting to see how the two-time world champion performs in the remainder of the season.
