Question:

A good All Mountain Snowboard?

So far I have been looking at the Gnu 11UP(also Rider's Choice), Rome Flag, Lib Tech TRS MXT, and a few others. I'm totally open to suggestions as I'm pretty lost. I usually just board powder, blacks and some blues, but have been trying out the park lately. Basically I need an all around board, but my main priority is freeride. I'm 6-3, 180, size 13 ions so that does limit my options. Any tips? Thanks alot for the help

  1. A board that always wins a lot of awards and is considered an all-around board for the slopes and the park would be the Atomic Alibi. It's won more Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood awards than any other snowboard... and on a personal note, my friend bought one and loves it..

  2. Nitro makes some great "all mountain freestyle" boards.  Take a look at the Nitro MFM: they make a wide version of this board that would fit your 13's.

  3. BURTON CUSTOM IS THE BEST ALL MOUNTAIN BOARD MADE.   I have a burton custom 154 from 2003. Im 5'10.  This deck has made riding awesome. I ride pow pow jibs a little backcounty and big booterz> The custom does it all. And It can take serious punishment. They have so much pop its rediculous.  My best friend has the same deck as me only 158 and he is 6'3 . And is the best snowboarder I know. You dont need something super long for all mountain riding.  Id go with a burton custom 158. You wont  be dissapointed

  4. If you like the powder you should go for a longer board most definitely. but considering you like going into the park it would be a safe bet to stay in between a 168-173.
