A good Australian flower to do a report on?

What is a good Australian flora specie to do a report about its adaptations to its environment? I was going to do Kangaroo Paw but one of my friends already took that.

Hakea  - the pincushion flower heads are pollinated by honeyeaters (a native bird). This plant is a winter food plants of the birds and appears to be pollinated by the honeyeaters. Insects also visit and Hymenoptera (wasps & bees) are also pollinators.

Note the styles (white with green stigma tip are part of the female pistil) start out bent like a hairpin, but as they mature, straighten so they can be fertilized.

Acacia? Oh - wattle ones! They're good with the examples for adaptations to its environment...(and that sentence was grammatically bad...sorry :P).
