A good CB radio that has nice range and will last a while..?

If possible can you advise me on a specific model. I've heard Cobra has some nice ones...Thanks

its nice to talk to another cber. i have a uniden in my car that will reach out pretty far and my friend has a cobra. if you want a cobra, get a 129, they are nice. you might consider 1 like mine. i have a (uniden pc68xl), they are good radios, radio shack sells them.
