Okay I know for skateboards the best brand around is BAKER. Whats a good brand of snowboards?

All brands are "good". There is no best. Best is relative. With Burton, you pay for the name, and you have to buy Burton bindings. K2s are just as solid and cheaper. But the question you should be asking yourself is what kind of riding am I going to do. Freestyle or freeride, and you pick a board from there. Don't pick based on brand.
