A good antivirus program?

Question

does anyone know about a good software that will prevent viruses or spy ware...etc from geting into my computer?

i have mcafee. has anyone had any experience with it? can it protect your computer properly?

McAfee is decent enough anti-virus, as long as you keep your subscription current so you receive the daily updates. Without updates you will not be protected from new malware. And there are dozens and dozens of new malwares each and every day.

mcafee is a good anti-virus. Personally i use avg because it is free and it has saved me from many trojans and such for over 2 years. Bottom line if it aint broke dont fix it. If you do change make sure you completely uninstall mcafee before installing any other anti-virus to avoid major computer problems.

I personally used McAfee for 4 years and never had a problem with it. The protection is there and it does its job without bothering you while your using your computer.

I have used this program for six years, I have never been stuck with a virus. I recommend it.

i also have mcafee but i also use adaware and my computer seems to work very well and fast. its also free adaware.com

I think McAfee is a good one. I have AVG and it works well and is free.
