I plan on learning to play guitar and I'm looking into buying this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Austin-Bazaar-Acoustic-Electric-Accessories/dp/B000K2SVMM/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1217094705&sr=1-15

Does anyone know if this guitar is any good?

  1. Not that good. :/ You get what you pay for. I'd look at epiphones or Takamines. www.musiciansfriend.com is a good website. Stay away from Yamahas. You don't buy guitars from piano companys. lol

  2. not great......

  3. try starting with a Fender StarCaster!

  4. Hmmm, i'm not really sure about this one. Honestly, I would get an Epiphone. They are a gibson but under a diffrent brand (Basicly a knock off). I bought a Epiphone for MY first guitar, and i'll tell ya what, that guitar lasted me through thick and thin! They sound great, have good pickups, just overall great quality! I bought a Epiphone Les Paul Special II for like $199. It's soooo worth the price my friend. You get a starter amp, gig bag, tuner, and some picks.
