  1. I bought my husband "The Baby Owner's Manual".  It's full of real advice and tips on caring for a baby, but it's actually written, quite humorously, like an instruction manual for a major appliance.

For pregnancy advice for him, try "The Expectant Father".

  2. playboy

  3. Baby Wise by Gary Ezzo.

We loved reading this together before I had my son. It really helped us because we were on the same track and it was such a great book. I really reccommend it to any parent who needs help with getting a baby to sleep through the night and guidelines in feeding schedules. I LOVED it! I have the whole series and right now I'm reading Toddler Wise because my son is now 18 months old.

  4. There is an amazing book, and I believe it is written by a man. Its very humourous, and my husband loved it when we were expecting our first. It's called Pregnancy Sucks for Men.

The original, Pregnancy Sucks, was written by a woman, but she had her husband write Pregnancy Sucks for Men specifically for fathers, about pregnancy from the Dad's point of view. It is very cute and informative.

    Good luck!!
