A good book to read?

Question

I want some help on finding some good books. I'm not a big reader but for some reason I feel like reading a good book. My favorite book is Hatchet, it's about a boy who has to survive on a small island after a plane crash. So something along those lines, about adventure and action.

Well if you like action, I completely recommend the Alex Rider Series written by Anthony Horowitz.

Also you may want to try this book called "The World as we knew it".

Any book by Orson Scott Card. Ender's Game is an amazing book. Takes a little bit to get into it, but once you finish that book, I can almost guarantee you'll be wanting more. And there are 7 more books in that series alone. If you like to read, these are a must.

The Alex Rider Series (Anthony Horowitz) also fits your request. Those books are also really good.

The Tennis Shoes Adventure Series (Chris Heimerdinger) is another of my favorite series and it even better if you are LDS.

I recommend In Cold Blood by Capote.  Its advanced and follows the story of two cold blooded killers.  Sounds a bit extreme, but you get really into it and learn to sympathize with the duo.

Also, I agree, Water for Elephants is excellent.

Another book I'd reccommend is "The One" it is about a kid who grows up in South Africa and becomes a boxer.  It is a difficult book to explain but it is indeed a great one.  Check it out on amazon
