  1. I just got the perfect budget camera...the fujifilm finepix f45fd for $160.

I orgianlly went into Ritz Camera thinking about a $300 camera (i was looking at the canon sd870) and after the guy did some demonstrations (like taking a picture in a half-open closet with NO flash) I decided on this camera.  It's great for concert and stage settings where no flash photography is allowed! After even buying a nice camera holder and 2 year warrenty, I was way under budget and love this camera!

  2. The all time winner bargain compact digital camera is the Canon 7.1 megapixel PowerShot SD1000 [not the IS] 7.1  with an added  2- gig memory card which when set in the manual mode for "Vivid" colors and low-light videos at 30 fps in 320 dpi format provides killer images and videos.  It currently sells for $160 at Sears:

    Good luck!

  3. I personally like the Kodak Easy Share camera. It is super easy to use and has great quality.

  4. I love my Kodak Z740. It's a great point and shoot camera with a handy night setting (among other things), a 10x zoom, and it's 5 MP.

  5. I have a 1 yr old son so durability is a must. I bought a camera from Walmart that is the best one I could have possible got. It came with a photo printer and its a digital camera (great for inside, outside, the dark, everything!) but its also a video camera too. I paid $99.00 for it and when I was shooting pictures for a house to sell (my bosses) I was using his 600.00 camera that was state of the art and it didnt even compare to my cheap 99.00 walmart camera. You will LOVE IT! Its by HP and its called the HP Photosmart Compact photo studio (digital camera and compact photo printer). The camera model is M447 and the printer is A524 but they both come together so you dont really need to look for them both. You can record your concerts, you can zoom in even when you are very far away, the picture quality is to die for.... its just 100% awesome! Plus you dont have to wait to get your prints back because you can print them out yourself... and it looks professional!!!! Its awesome! Good luck:)

  6. Canon Powershot A640 great camera

usually the best way to get a picture with any camera in low lighting is to use a tripod.

  7. canon, nikon, & panasonic are good brands, look into those.

kodak easy-share are also pretty good cameras.

you can get those for under $150.

  8. A canon powershot sd750 should be good enough
