A good car repair shop?

I'm just a girl with a car. I feel so frustrated when I need to get my car fixed. I don't know where to go or what the prices will be. I've heard a lot of stories about rip offs when you go to the garages. No one is capable of helping me and when I do get my car fixed for a price, everyone always say I got overcharged. Is it better that I go to the original car dealership to get it fixed? I just don't know what to do.

I would check http://www.bbb.com on complaints with that auto shop.

Also, goto carsurvey.org do a search for your vehicle and find out if this is a easy problem you can fix yourself if so get repair book. Original car dealership will charge a little more then private. If you have a check engine light on get it scanned at a auto part retailer for free. HTH
