Hi,

Taking a potential client to lunch, but have no idea where to take them. Will need to be around Soho and I don't want it to be a too formal affair, just a casual, yet nice lunch

Thanks

  1. take your potential client to lunch at the soho square and introduce yourself and that potential client of yours to no other than Fabio Capello!

  2. Bruno's cafe near berwick st market

  3. If you like good Thai food (as in properly spiced and fragant, not the kind you get in pubs); then I think Patara on Greek Street would be a good choice. It's usually quite quiet at lunchtimes so good if you need to talk shop, and it's reasonable - not cheap, but not ridiculous. Food is very good - not heavy at all, so ideal for lunch.

Near Soho, in Bloomsbury, you could try Passione on Charlotte Street for decent non-plastic Italian food. On the same street, there's Pescatori (fish/seafood), Zizzi (Italian chain), Elena's Etoile (French), and Roka (high-end Japanese).

If money is no object, then Quo Vadis would be perfect.

For steak, there's a Gaucho in Piccadilly that is pretty reliable.

Have a search on toptable and see what takes your fancy :)

  4. How about Arbutus on Frith Street. They are a one Michelin Starred restaurant, but not stuffy at all. Small, relaxed and friendly and they have some great value lunch specials too. Highly recommended
