A good debate on those who kill & Rape

For people who rape or muder someone they are chucked in jail. Should Countrys have the death penalty or not have this introduced (again) to there country & why?

Um.. well, no 'cos a death penalty for a murderer for killing someone is stupid, as then the government too is murdering someone. A death penalty for a rapist for having s*x forcefully? Now that too is stupid. I think that to have less crime committed, you should take away the luxury from it. For example, one island has a huge jail, and they took away tv privileges, and other luxuries and the food was made very basic, with all nutrients but it wasn't tasty. The criminals also had to do hard work in the prison and also were made to work outside in building and hard labour. That island, now has a rapidly decreases criminal number. They should do this to all criminals, as in jail the jails we have now are not so bad. Criminals wont care to go in one as they will still have everyday privileges, and so we should do what that island done and we could possibly have decreased crimal damage and criminals. See? A thoughtthrough answer is the soloution to EVERY problem :)

For those who want death: Solitary confinement is a a lot worse as in you're looked in a room by yourself for years rotting away from boredom and loneliness.

For those who don't: Solitary confinement keeps them alive.

i always felt castration was a good idea.  the death penalty for pedophiles though.  "its a disease" my @$$!!!!  why house them for a few years and hope they lose their perverted tastes?  kill em and be rid of the problem.

For rape, give them one more chance, but if they eff it up throw them in jail for life. If it's rape and murder for the first time I say kill 'em. Those people have no mercy for anyone else, why should we give them mercy if they are only going to go out and do it again?

I don't think there should be a death penalty.

I think they should be put in a cell for the rest of there lifes.

Also get half an hour of councling once a day.

I was raped an I hate the man I want to kill him hurt him make him pay but deep down that man has issues.

There is somthing wrong with him for doing that.

I'm not forgiving him and I never will but, there has to be somthing deeper.

I am all for the death penalty!!  If people are heartless and crude enough to commit such a crime they should be permanently removed from society.

My own opinion on those who rape and kill, not the otherway around kill and rape. They rape first and then kill the victim, I donot see the otherway around of killing first the girl with all the blood around her and then remove the clothings and rape her very unlikely someone with a right mind would do the reverse.

SOME COUNTRIES have death penalty, like in China for instance, they shoot the back side of the head, the Chinese policemen would line them all up in one square inside the prison wall naturally, and put one bullet for each gun and when the signal is given to shoot they poke the nozzle of the .38 caliber and shoot. And then after the prison died, they will write to the immediate families to pay for the bullet spent for their love ones. Yes the Chinese government is asking for the payment of the bullet. Ironic isn't it?

In MALAYSIA, it is a firing squad for drug seller, by using a 50 caliber. The suspect is behind a white linen sheet and all the bullet will be spent on the linen once the linen is torn apart(most probably) the suspect is considered to be dead.

In Iraq during Saddam's regime, the convicted felon is hoist by a crane, with a rope around his neck so that everyone can see what the government do for felons like these one.

Should a country have a death penalty? Depends on their religious belief, and strong conviction of eradicating criminals. For me they should have one. I know you will tell me, is it not only God has the right to take away our life? True, but in these world of ours where EVIL MEN reign supreme, what justice do you think is left for the victims of such crime like these one you mention after raping they still kill the victim. Rape only I should say the suspect should rot in jail no doubt but taking another men's life is another story. If you said God has the only authority to take life then why does this man take another man's life in his own hands?

I think personally that the death penalty is the best answer, for the state of affairs and the life that these people lead.

However, this would also constitute genocide, and mass murder.

So with that matter, it is not the matter of the death penalty that you should be worried about.  It is what we can do with these inmates so that they will and can become a part of society again but in a good way.

1.  Working while in jail.  These inmates are in debt to society, but right now they are in cells watching Cable TV, wearing clothes, eating alright food, and being taken care of.  They have better healthcare then I do.

2.  Inmates have free schooling while they are in jail, meaning that they can get degrees and finish college classes.  Most of us out here are struggling just to be able to go to college or cant becuase of so many bills to pay and jobs that work us too much.

3. The Common inmate will learn things from other inmates while they are in prison and become a worse criminal after they get out.  They swap bad habits like our kids swap video games and pokemon cards.

I think that the real thing that would benifit society is to bring back the chain gangs, of course make sure that they have plenty of water and eat good meals, but they learn skillful trades that can be done in the civilian world after they get out.  They can even do those trades right there in jail, or out on these chain gangs.

heavy equipment operators - how many freeways and highways need maintenance every single day.  Well a bunch of orange suited cons could patch those holes, and drive the bulldozers and such and we could save the country and states tons of money per year for allowing them to do it.  Not only that it benifits them, they can get out and smell the grass, and the freedom that they will have once again after they come out.

another instance is city and postal offices, these need janitors, and they dont want criminals in there, however why not utilize them in janatorial roles inside of these buildings, because in the end, we are also paying alot of tax money to people (sometimes illigal immigrants) to clean the toilets and floors of court houses.  There are guys with guns right there from the US Marshalls office that are there to protect you and guard them.  IT would be really easy to do.  

Sure a few of these people will s***w up and try to run, but weve got meathead cops that are out there drinking cofee, and eating donuts not really doing anything on the side of the road but waiting until one of us passes them going  2 miles over the speed limit so that he can give us a ticket.  That cop could also react to the person trying to escape and accidentally hit the convict with his car as he turns over that hot coffee and it spills in his lap while chasing this person down the road.

Now, for the big offenders, Serial Killers, Child Molesters, Rapists, and Murderers.   These are very serious crimes, and they should be definitely taken that way.

Death penalty yes, for these persons and as quick of a time frame as the law could possibly allow.  Forensic Evidence, admission of guilt, and placing the offender at the scene should account for all that we would need to put these people to death, in a humane but expedient way.  Public Hangings are out of the question but they are a deterrent to any other crimes such as these.

Psychological Study groups for these new breeds of bottom feeders, child molestors, serial rapists, murderers, and of course serial killers.  These people should honestly be kept under lock and key 24 7 but kind of thrown in together to see how they act.  in small groups of course for their own safety.  But they all should undergo a pshycological study by at least 4 doctors that can go to a committee and state we have found out that the guy liked little boys becuase of this.  Or they could say that the reason he started liking little boys was this. and so on and so forth, so that we know what to look for in our children so that they wont turn out like these little b******s that should not be able to share the same air with us on this planet.

The other option I believe that should be offered for any offender sentenced to life imprisonment is to be able to willingly and without coersion donate his life to sceince.  meaning medical research, space exploration, or even suicide prevention investigation.(where you get him to kill himself and you watch how it is done).  This would advance our medical knowledge and psychological knowledge, as well as understanding of the space program and everything as well greatly.

We have never fired a rocket up in space with a live human being in it and said, hey  just fly until you cant fly anymore. there is enough food on board and water to last you about 30 years if your lucky and dont get sucked up by any aliens, but if you do get sucked up by aliens, at least find out about them and see if they would like to meet us without taking over our world.

h**l if I were an inmate I would do it it would be cool to be out there all alone in space just admiring the stars and of course sleeping and not having a job and never having to worry about where my next meal would be coming from. It would be great,  it would be better if I could have a couple of women up there to share the experience with, but myself would be fine as well.

So what do you think.  Do away with the death penalty and impliment real cases of advancement of human technology, or keep them in prison for the rest of their lives watching cable TV we can afford, eating food some of us cant afford and having AC blasting in the jails that would drive up the cost of our electricity bills to the point we would have to skip meals or go into debt in trying to pay for it.
