I was thinking about a cybershot. Not sure.

Here are some qualities I want in the camera:

-9.0 or more megapixels (maybe 8.0, not sure)

-Big screen for good picture viewing and selecting

-Slim and Sleek

-Comes in good colors

-Under $250

-Reliable and good quality

-And indestructable and portable

Please give me links and good choices. I really need a camera because I love photography and travel.

  1. I recommend an Olympus. I'm a professional photographer, and I've been using Olympus for years, and never had any trouble with it.

    Here's a link to a camera I think you'd like.

  2. after owning 3 sony cybershots, i decided to give canon powershots a try. the sony ones are pretty good, but i usually ended up having some problems w/ them. of course, no camera is "indestructable", but there were always small "glitches" here and there. the dsc-120 is pretty nice, but it's only a 7.2 mp for $190 at wal-mart.. you'll have to spend a little more if you want a 8+ mp.

  3. Olympus cameras are amazing.

    8.0 Megapixels

Olympuses (i think) are the best.

  5. The Olympus Stylus 840 that the person on top mentioned looks pretty good, I've been checking that one out myself as well.

Another one that I'm feeling pretty good about that you may want to check out is the Canon PowerShot SD 1100 IS.

They are very similar to each other, the Canon of course has the Canon name behind it so you know the quality is good. The Olympus though has some pretty awesome features.

As I said, I myself am torn between the 2. Good luck to you!

The first person gave you the link to the Stylus 840 already, so here's the link to the PowerShot SD 1100 IS:
