Question:

A good forum for NASCAR?

I enjoy answering questions about Nascar, but I would also like to find a good open chat forum for Nascar. Sometimes live chat is more interesting than reading others' posts.Plus I admit I like bouncing ideas and points of view off differently minded people.

So I figured if anyone would know what I'm looking for, it would be the good folks at Y!A Nascar section. I need one that is populated by people later at night, to match my schedule, but I'm not looking for BOT CITY either.

  1. Go Kenseth!

  2. Hey richard, here are some that are cool in order of how I'd rank them:

    1. http://www.goteamsgo.com/forum/nascar-fo... <--There is a lot of long time NASCAR fans in that forum. They all know what they're talking about and have been around the sport for a very long time. They also don't seem to bash other drivers, and the members seem to respect each other. And if someone does bash, there's a whole host of old-timers there to correct them, lol. Almost all of them know their stuff and it's a nice community. There aren't a lot of "driver" fans in that forum so much as there is "NASCAR" fans. It's also a good place for a history lesson.

    2. http://www.nascarspace.com/ <--This one isn't quite as active as the goteamsgo one, but it has more sections in it. Some good stuff on there to discuss as well. There's a few posts every day.

    3. http://www.forums.nascar.com <--NASCARs forums are alright, but there's quite a bit of hating on other drivers. One good thing is that each driver also has their own section where only positive stuff is posted, and you can discuss things with like minded people.

Last would probably be http://www.infieldparking.com (hope that address is right). I've never tried it so I can't really make an opinion, but I hope those help. GoTeamsGo would be my favorite just because of how much yuo can learn there.

  3. umm..dunno any good sites but if u find one tell me! lol

i love nascar! love any dodge but my fav. is umm...hmm...hard...probably Kasey Kahne but i think even though ole' dale (not jr.) was da best driver of all time

  4. The live chats on NASCAR.com during qualifying for the Cup and Nationwide plus their Fri nite chats at 7pm ET and during Cup and Nationwide races are pretty good although there are so many participants it takes quite a lot of patience to deal with it.

I participate in a chat for my fave drivers but it's by invitation only.

  5. Good question! And sorry I didn't know what ones to tell ya but now thanks to bestanswer I can try some out myself!

edit: I take that back I have an infieldparking account and it's okay I just don't get on that site as often as I should but it's set up kind of like myspace! So the other ones bestanswer suggested you might like better!
