A good multiplayer pc game?

Looking for a good multiplayer pc game, anything except for Turn Based RPG's, or sports titles.

WOW (world of warcraft) is a great game, i like it! You can creat your own character, you have the choice between Horde and Alliance, I like Alliance, when you get to the level that you can bettle alliance almost allways wins! And if ou can, get a Warlock, they are good for starters...As long as you have a credit card...and money in the account. and DO NOT play runesacpe, it is the MOST retarded game on the entire internet!!!

World of war craft is a really good multiplayer pc game. It was rated the best multiplayer pc game on a game show that i watch called reviews on the run. Also most multiplayer pc games rip of off of this series. I hope ive helped.

Have you tired Call of Duty 4?  Works well online and on a private lan, especially when you get more that 8 people playing.
