A good park to have a picnic in maryland?

a place where its not alot of people and not to far from bowie, im willing to drive 40 mins

  1. DEFINITELY go to Kensington, to the park on Beach Dr, which is off of Knowles. Look it up on Google maps or something, But it is a great park. I can't remember if they have picnic tables or not, so bring a blanket just in case.

    P.S. It should take a tiny bit over a half hour (30 min) to get there if you know where you are going.


  2. Go down and sit on the national mall. It is the greatest place on earth. In a few blocks oyu can see fottball, soccer, frisbee, and nothin beats the view sitting between the capital and Washington monument.

  3. I agree with Joe American.  Also, you might try Allen Pond in Bowie, MD.  They even have fishing.  Good luck!

  4. how about the wildlife preserve on RT 197?  Between Bowie & Laurel?  We used to go fishing there and I bet you could have a nice quiet picnic there....
