They represent the best hotels, condos, villas, etc, in Playa.  My two favorites from their hotel list (and both are a little higher end) are La Tortuga and Playa Maya.  I've stayed at both and would highly recommend either.

gran coco bay is a good resort and close to fifth avenue...where all the action is at.  if you want seclusion....grand oasis riviera maya is wonderful.  not much to do close, but the resort is great with lots going on there.  go to www.cancun.com if you want to check out some cheaper places....like in the heart of playa.....there are a lot of good ones. go to this website and check this out..i love this place....cabanas http://www.tulum-playa.com/omplaya.php.  depends on what you are looking for......but there are many, many good places to stay in playa del carmen.
