  1. Hello,

    I have a dolma recipe:

You will need: 1 can of grape leaves (rinsed and stems trimmed)

    1 cup of rice

    1/2 pound of ground beef

    1 tablespoon of allspice

    1 tablesppon of nutmeg

    salt and pepper to taste

mix well and add a bit of vegetable oil (1 teaspoon) to hold mixture.

Begin to make dolmas by putting 1/2 teaspoon of rice mixture onto a grape leaf and fold the sides of the leaf inwards, then roll the whole whole leaf securly until it looks like a cigar shape.

Place them neatly in a pot, and cover with just enough water to cover the leaves.

You can also pour 1/2 can of tomato sauce with the water for added taste to the dolma.

Cover and bring to a boil then simmer for about an hour or until you taste a dolma and the inside is cooked.

    drain excess water and enjoy!

You can also use the same filling to stuff any type of zuchini, or even a tomato!

    Hope this helped you!

  2. it is something like kale, I know what you are meaning.

the vegetable layers to keep the dolmas moist and soft.
