The brand? Where you got it? How I can get it?

  1. if it is a small adaptor... you can buy an adaptator in any electronic store for a few dollars.

If it is a transformer, make your choice online.

I bought two of them here :

You can use it with an american powerbar, as long as you respect the maximum power (Watts) of the transformer.

  2. You almost do not need one since all camera, laptop, phone can handle dual voltage.  Hair dryer, iron are provided by all the hotel you are in.  In the restroom of most bigger hotel there is one 110v outlet.

  3. They're all pretty much the same.

Be sure to get one that handles 50-1600 watts (or two separate ones).  The lower voltage is for charging electronics like your cell phone, PDA, etc. and can run for a long time; the higher wattage is for heat-producing items like hair dryers, and can only be run for a short time.
