A good racing game for PS3?

Question

Hey, i haven't really got a pure racing game for the ps3. I'm just wondering what your favourite racing game is? I'd preferably like one where you can buy new cars and tune them (i liked GT:3 on the ps2 is the GT 5:prologue any good?)

GT5 Prologues alright, I'm a fan of driving games myself, but the best game I've played since the original gran turismo is definetly Burnout Paradise, you cant buy or tune cars (sadly) but there's ahelluvalot of things to do, you can freeroam which isnt boring (!) as there are discoverables that have kept me intrested since I got it, a huge story and a awesome online! ALSO (!) criterion games are releasing new stuff for it they have added cagney which added lots of new freeburn challenges (you'll know soon) and gave 2 awesome new cars for online, and in a matter of days bikes for he first time ever are being added adding 10-15 hoyurs (!!!!!!) of gameplay and a whole new experience AND trophies but there last update (atm) is one which adds a whole new island to the free roaming paradise!

I'd highly reccomened it mate :-D
