  1. Twilight Series

    This Lullaby

    Lock and Key

  2. haha its very popular but ill have to say the twilight series!!

  3. OMG U HAVE TO READ THE TWILIGHT SERIESE

    THERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  4. gypsy lesley pearce or anything by meg hutchinson

  5. Cassandra Clare's Mortal instruments books are great City of Bones and City of Ashes are already out, City of Glass comes out next year, I think you will like them if you like forbidden love stuff.

Also, they are a little bit harder to get hold of now, so ebay or the library would be where to find them, but LJ Smiths nightworld series is excellent.

A few others I have just glanced over that my girlfriend keeps on the book shelf are:

    Forbidden Magic by Jo Beverley

Hunger like no Other by Kresley Cole

Howling at the moon by Karen Macinerney

Kiss of Crimson by Lara Adrian

I burn for you by Susan Sizemore

My girlfriend has also just told me to tell you that Josephine Cox writes great romance novels.

  6. 'PS i love you' by Cecelia Ahern

    BEST book ever

its been made into a movie i dont know if u have seen it ?

  7. "The thorn birds" by  Colleen McCullough. Its brilliant.

  8. Pride and Prejudice, if you can't do Austen then try Bronte and read Wuthering Heights, usually people lean one way or the other.

    Gone With The Wind!

  9. Try some of these they have romance in them*

The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Neffenigger*

    Last Chance by Sarah Dessen*

Best of Fathers by Anne Baker*

The Knitting Circle by Ann Hood

    Cell by Stephen King

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Before I Die by Jenny Downham

Swimming with the Fishes and Swimming without a net by MaryJanice Davidson*

Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funkt

    Ingo series by Helen Dunmore*

    Jane Eyre*

    Gulliver's Travels by Johnathan Swift

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind starts with Wizards First Rule*

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King starts with The Gunslinger

    All the Harry Potter books

  10. Try "Noughts and Crosses" by Malorie Blackman.

"Callum is a naught, a second-class citizen in a society run by the ruling Crosses. Sephy is a Cross, and daughter of the man slated to become prime minister. In their world, white naughts and black Crosses simply don't mix -- and they certainly don't fall in love. But that's exactly what they've done.

When they were younger, they played together. Now Callum and Sephy meet in secret and make excuses. But excuses no longer cut it when Sephy and her mother are nearly caught in a terrorist bombing planned by the Liberation Militia, with which Callum's family is linked. Callum's father is the prime suspect...and Sephy's father will stop at nothing to see him hanged. The blood hunt that ensues will threaten not only Callum and Sephy's love for each other, but their very lives.

In this shocking thriller, UK sensation Malorie Blackman turns the world inside out. What's white is black, what's black is white, and only one thing is clear: Assumptions can be deadly."

  11. PS I LOVE YOU!! AMAZING BOOK!

  12. well, these aren't typical romance books but they do have romance and a lot of forbidden love.

There is the mortal instruments series and although they are more fantasy but through the plot is a big forbidden love - especially book 2.

Also Uglies by scott westerfeld is kinda the same but also with forbidden love - havnt read book 2 yet but it sounds like it gets kinda more like that x x x

Just started reading Pride and Prejudice, sounds like forbiddenish love too. Try books by Philippa Gregory including The Virgins Lover and The Other Boleyn Girl - modern but about British monarchs etc .. .

Try Stargirl too, kinda more forbidden friendship than romantic love

  13. Julia Garwood and Sandra Brown have excellent books.

I think I have read just about all from each author.  I can't put these books down once I start reading them.

  14. I like romances by Catherine Coulter.  Most are historical, but she's always good for a laugh!!  The Sherbrooke Bride is pretty good.

  15. P S I Love You is romantic. Not so much about forbidden love though.

The Twilight Series is good. That is about forbidden love.

Try some books off the author Malorie Blackman. She deals with issues like racism etc, and forbidden love between two different raced people. Her stories really touch me and make me think.

  16. PS I love you - Celica Athern

    Jane Moore - Perfect Match

Jill Mansell - An offer you can't refuse (It's about forbbiden love)

    Debbie Macomber - old boyfriends

Tess stemson – the infinitely chain

Liz Noble –Things I want my daughters to know(Although not a romance very very good)

  17. Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier is an excellent book. It's not really a classic, but it was written in the 1st half of the 20th century. Social boundaries do play a role.

  18. A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux.

    It's an amazingggg book.
