A good roofing nail gun to put roofing on my home?

I was wondering what would be a good roofing nail gun to put roofing on my home. I don't want anything great, as i'm not going to use this for a business or anything. I just want something to be decent, so i looked at these 2 nail guns: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=92917

Which one is better? and also are there any better cheaper ones?

Thanks!

  1. i would get the 2nd one, sollid blue. it only requires 2.5 cfm,and the other needs 17 cfm. I own a Craftsman Pro compressor also(great performance) and mines rated at 5.7

cfm....so i dont think it will push the other

  2. if you don't need one for a living, why don't you just rent one from a rental store? home depot even rents tools now a days. if you do end up buying one don't forget to oil it with a few drops of tool oil before use each day. i even oil mine after i stop for lunch. i have a hitachi nail gun, (but you said that you don't want the best), but i've seen some by senco that are pretty inexpensive. lowes had a gun, i forget the brand, for about $100. , so you don't have to wait for it to be shipped or pay for shipping.
