A good side dish with chicken and turkey sausage jambalaya

  1. I'd go with something light and bland, since the chicken and jambalaya are hardy and spicy enough and you don't want to overpower that. I'd do grilled veggies (grilled zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes) with a green salad. But then again, if you're looking for wholesome good solid food, then corn bread, as mentioned already, is always tasty.


  2. Cornbread

  3. tomato and okra stew, and garlic bread

  4. gibblet dressing(AKA known as stuffing with gibblets). mashed potatoes with brown gravy.

  5. greens and cornbread muffins

  6. warm sour dough rolls and whipped butter.

  7. Man, Jambalaya IS a complete dinner.  If you have to serve something else, make it bread or cornbread for dipping into the sauce.   Serve a nice cold dessert though.

    You have made my mouth water!!    

  8. Jambalaya is a meal in itself...rice, maybe a salad and bread.
