A good sounding stereo system for my computer? ?

Most of the speaker systems at retail stores do not have the system

set up to listen to it. I want something with the bass thingie and two speakers. I don't want to waste my money on something that isn't going to sound great. Any suggestions? I am willing to spend up to

$125. Thanks.

Check the creative series. You can go for the simplest 2.1 upto the 5.1 set of speakers.

I have the 2.1 and the sound is awesome!

Logitec and Creative have a good reputation.  I have had a pair of Creative that I still use.

Bose makes some and also a company called Klippswitch or something like that that is also supposed to be better.
