A good thesis for jeans?

Well... I'm doing a research paper for Eng. and my topic is the invention of jeans. Right now, I'm working on the outline and I'm supposed to turn it in tomorrow; however, I have NO clue as to what idea I should write as the thesis. Any have any examples?

I won't copy the whole thing, I'll put it in my own words - so it's not really cheating, more of an... IDEA. And plus, you'll get 10 pts. for it.

I'm not too sure but you could maybe:

- say who invented jeans

- how the jean how evolved of the years ( the different fashion trends)
