I like alliteration for mini publications. Using the school's name, or the school mascot's name, or use the connection of some of the local flavor:

Mini newspaper with a chemistry theme:

If it is more of a bulletin than a newspaper:

Or, I'd think of what the 'theme' is of the newspaper and then brainstorm, using a dictionary, on clever nouns, verbs and adjectives that you could use to help give you more ideas.

I have done a similar project and i would just use your last name and add times or daily or sun or etc to the end
