  1. Nothing it will pass as with all food it eats. I used to use shredded newspaper (before i found kitty litter to be a much better option) for my guinea pigs and they ate it all the time.

  2. when i clean my guinea pigs cage i put newspaper on the bottom then the wood chips she always digs up the newspaper and eats it! i wouldn't be that concerned

  3. k, that sounds bad, depends how much ink, well ink poisening would be the worst but if it didnt get into the blood streem of your guineapig that would be good id probably take it to the vet asap.

    good luck!

  4. like news paper?? it should'nt matter, i used to have guinea pigs, and i used paper to line the bottom of the cage, and they would sometimes chew on it, and they were fine, ive even had day old baby guinea pigs chew on paper, and no problems, my suggestion is to but a piece of wood in your gp's cage, they like to chew on things, remember not treated wood, jus a plain old tree log (smallish!) will do fine, hope this helps, see how you go, but i would'nt worry about the paper chewing.
