A guy thingy that I would like advice on?

so Ive been talking to this guy for like 2-3 weeks and at first it was like I was a booty call,and he would always ask me about doing stuff together but not hanging out. so Im confused because we call each other babe in text because thats how we communicate and one day he said-I love you babe and then a day later he told me that he liked me? is this a set up just to score with me? how do I know that he will still talk to me after we mess around?

It sounds to me that he's very interested in you. I think you may be reading into it too  much, if ya get what I mean. If I'm understanding this right, he told you in text that he loved you, and then in person he told you he liked you? A lot of times its much easier to express your feelings in text. So when he told you he liked you, it probably meant that he had the feelings of love, but it was too hard to say.

OR

If he told you he liked you in text, that could mean a number of things. 1. Maybe he thought that he came on too strongly the day before when he told you he loved you. 2. Maybe he wanted to get it straight that he "liked" you in a boyfriend/girlfriend way, not just "love" you b/c youre such a good friend.
