A guy told me he used to play in the nfl.....how can i check this out....it was 15-20 years ago?

I wouldn't be surprised............plenty of older guys have played in the NFL but haven't have noteworthy careers.......If he played notably well he might appear on some website........but if he rode the bench for the Buffalo Bills you might want to take his word for it

Wikipedia, google, or yahoo are good search engines to use... type in his name and watch the results pop up... but as someone else said people make the NFL they just might not have had a Joe Montana kind of career

I'm sure if you simply type his name in on google something will show up, but try using the NFL's website, it might have like a database you can search or something.

Go to nfl.com, check out past players/enter his name. Even if the name is there, doesn't mean it's him. My God-daughter is married to Jim Brown, but he's not the famous NFL star!! For one thing, he's white!

Go to http://www.nfl.com and search for the players name.  They have a history of all players, and stats, who have played in the NFL.

Post his name, and where he went to college on this board. There is probably someone who knows.

Just type his name into a search engine and put NFL after it. If he played it'll show up...
