Here's the deal (I think), be it for the best or worse I was raised around all women all my child and teenage life. So 'guy stuff' (cars, football, sports, spitting, the general faux macho attitude) I don't get. Growing up it wasn't such a big deal cause I always had female friends but now it's kind of an issue. One because men and women are usually not close that way and relationships...people feel threatened when it's not like that at all. So what's a guy like me to do? Me and most guys speak different languages and faking it does no good!! My gf's all get jealous and it just gets crazy.

To be fair I should also say that I am a straight male and a pretty nice guy. So hanging around other women who sometimes have relationships of their own is probably not a good idea. I mean you start talking conversations get deep and things could happen. Harmless flirting can go too far real fast. But what is the alternative? Be friendless?

  1. First of all there is nothing wrong with you the way you are. You Identify with women really well and thats good! You are like 10 steps ahead of most men who are just too mocho to show thier feelings at all! As for the jealous girlfriends trust is a major peice of making a relationship work and if shes jealous then she doesnt trust you. You will find a girl that you can trust! Always be yourself theres nothing wrong with who you are!! Good Luck!!

  2. I know a guy like you; his dad wasn't around when he was young, so he didn't get that "macho" side of his upbringing. He was raised by his mother and a group of other women. He said it used to bother him, but only because he had convinced himself that somehow he was "lacking" because of it. Now that he's accepted that he just didnt' get that side of his childhood, no dad or uncles around to teach him sports or about cars or whatever, he's fine.

People who feel threatened are just insecure. Spend time with the people you want to spend time with, even if it is a bunch of girls. My uncle did that all through highschool. He had guy friends too, but he rarely spent time with them outside of gym class.

  3. No. Don't be friendless, that'd be terrible. ): Just be yourself. Whether your friends are married or not, women or men, they're your friends and it shouldn't matter. (:

  4. i think you might be g*y

  5. Is there a rule that says you have to have a guy friend? have a talk with your girlfriend.
