A hard question about DNA?

If a DNA sample (swab) is contaminated with household bleach, does that make the sample useless, or is there a way of removing the bleach, and somehow using the remaining (if any) DNA material??

    Anyways. Sample is useless :(

  4. Bleach will destroy the DNA as bonds present b/w the two strands of DNA will break.So, the sample will be useless n there would be no DNA left behind.
