A hedgehog family eat the cat food I leave in the garden for cats.Could cat food be unhealthy for them?

No has my aunt used to leave dog food and they always came back year after year break up finely some dog biscuits and a plate of milk

you have to remember some cat food is good, some is c**p

as a general rule NONE of the cat/kitten foods in grocery stores are good..

it is unhealthy for them but many people use it or dog food for hedgehogs or raccoons. Plants and insects are their best bet.It is okay for them but dont put it out everyday because they will become dependent on the food and will stop hunting for their own food and will become overweight. You will also not be able to get rid of them if they become a burden.

I wouldnt think so. They have probably eaten many things before. Dont sweat it.
