A highly versatile lineup for the John Wade Waste Recycling Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (John Wade Novices’ Hurdle Series Final) at Sedgefield
Sedgefield is to host the Class 2 John Wade Waste Recycling Novices’ Handicap Hurdle (John Wade Novices’ Hurdle Series Final) over two miles, two furlongs and 110 yards on Tuesday, 3rd April. The purse for the race is worth £10, 010.
The race has attracted a lineup of ten runners.
Among the entire lineup, Ebanour, Indian Ridge’s five-year-old chestnut gelding out of mare Ebadiyla, is the only one who has very recently struck a victory at Sedgefield.
The five-year-old won the John Wade Earthworks And Demolition Novices’ Hurdle (Qualifier) (Part Of Series) on 23rd March at Sedgefield over two miles and four furlongs.
The ½ favourite of the race, Ebanour, led the runner up, Sublime Talent, by a length. Settling the race third was Cadore.
This was the third start of the season for Ebanour and the first victory as he remained winless in the outings that he undertook at Musselburgh and Newbury.
Sublime Talent will encounter Ebanour today again and how will the positions switch this time is still to be seen.
Both are to race their fourth outing of the season today. Completing the trio, the four-year-old Cadore will join in today too.
Kealigolane, Beneficial’s eight-year-old grey gelding out of mare Leone Des Pres, posted a victory through the second start of the season. He won the TurfTV.Co.UK
“Fixed Brush” Handicap Hurdle on 21st March at Haydock over two miles. The runner up of the race was Rawaaj while coming at terms with the third position was the 5/2 favourite of the race, Taaresh.
His opening of the season was in the Berrymoss Novices’ Hurdle on 15th February at Kelso over two miles and half a furlong.
The race was won by the 4/6 favourite and stationing right next to him was Rhymers Ha’.
Concluding the race third was Absinthe.
The race has assembled up a highly competitive and unpredictable lineup with many oozing with the potential of claiming the race. Those who have won or been placed at Sedgefield during the previous season do not need to be ignored as they are the surprise
element of the race and might as well end up winning.
