  1. for ties, they had ten less than wins

    and for wins, they had 10 more than ties

    sorry, not good at math so i just gave the basics

  2. Math. Ew.

  3. Let P = Points

    Let W = Wins

    Let T = Ties

    W = T + 10 (10 more wins then ties)

    2W + T = P (53)

    *Substitute

    2(T + 10) + T = 53

    2T + 20 + T = 53

    3T = 33

    T = 11

    *Plug back into formula

    2W + T = 53

    2W + 11 = 53

    2W = 42

    W = 21

    Therefore: The team had 21 wins and 11 ties.

  4. Wow

    what+what=what?

  5. 21 wins 11 ties

    21X2=42

    11X1=11

    42+11=53
