A hummingbird just flew into my window and died. Is this any kind of omen in any tradition?

Like the above, we were sitting here looking at dog names on the internet, hear a thump on the window, and look down on our balcony to see a dead hummingbird.... Now it's coming around... Lemme know about omens though folks.

a cardinal did that once on our french doors and was still alive... i took her in and let her "shake it off" then a few hours later i let her go.... birds do this ALL the time!

It means the bird could not see the window.  Put something up so the birds can see it...
