A hummingbird just took a breather outside my window... Do you believe this is lucky?

Oddly enough, this was this first time I ever say one up close.... Do you believe this is a good omen?

It's very lucky.  Like the hummingbird your heart can feel like it's beating too fast, and yes it's telling you to take it easy.  If you are strained, so will be your child.  Hummingbirds are excellent parents (can you imagine their eggs???).  Take the advice.  Meditate and get tummy massages.  Good luck!

Absolutely, there is something very spiritual about a hummingbird.

I bought my mum a hummingbird pendant for mothers day as a sincere symbol of love, healing and protection when she was going through a difficult time

To me they represent hope, love and new beginnings. They have a protective element about them and symbolise future happiness through support from loved ones.

You haven't gone too long to go now so take this time to rest as much as possible - you are going to be very busy with your little buddle of joy.

I don't know about good omen or bad one.  I just know it is a delightful experience you had.  So often we do not take the time to enjoy the beauty of this planet and/or the beauty of nature.  Look at it this way, there aren't going to be too many beautiful days left with global warming and all.  If perchance hummingbirds go extinct, you can tell your child the story of seeing one who rested on your window sill.  I don't want to sound like a grump, but you may have heard that bees will be extinct before 2030 if they don't find out what's causing their mass destruction so it's not impossible that the climate change might eliminate many creatures large and small.  Appreciate them while we still have them.

It is believed that it is good luck for a hummingbird to land at the place where you reside. I truly do believe that to be true, because a day after a hummingbird landed outside my room i met my husband and fell in love at that moment, it was shear chance that we met.
