As sad as the possible outcome of this act of nature may be, the opportunity it presents is priceless.

I don't wish another Katrina on New Orleans, but forcing the government to order a mandatory evacuation during the McCain nomination process will just reinforce the fact that he's out of touch with reality.

Just like the first Geo. Bush, McCain lives inside a distortion of reality that I doubt he'll ever escape from. And just like Randy "Duke" Cunningham, he's just another one of the 'good old boys' that Gov. Palin thinks he isn't.

Exactly what I was thinking.  Now that the US congress has privatized disaster relief and sent all our national Guard troops to the Middle East.  Who will save the frat boys and girls?
