  1. If it has sugar don't take it.

  2. If the tea is sweet it's bad because it will make your blood sugar go up high high high.  But it's good for you if you are having a low blood sugar.  It completely depends on your blood sugar.

  3. years ago (like 20) they used to ban tea, coffee, and soda because of the caffiene (which stimulates the liver to release some of it's stored sugar).  That has changed, and we can enjoy caffiene products - in moderation.

  4. yes if drank occasionally without sogar or sweetners

  5. Black or green tea has some anti-oxidants in it that can help problems caused by diabetes, but it has caffeine too, which can constrict the blood vessles, so, its your choice, I guess, I drink it without sugar, as I always have, but it doesnt seem to bother me. Its better than soda, I think.

My books say a moderate amount should be o.k., and a cup of coffee in the morning without sugar is probably alright, too. I put splenda in my one cup of coffee. Ive been told that a moderate amount is probably fine, but if you havent started drinking it already, you probably shouldnt start.

we all know that water is the prefered liquid, but it gets old sometimes. I have found that I really enjoy the Crystal Geyser sparkling water, tho, too. It comes in plain or flavored, but has no carbs or sugar, or sweeteners. It feels more like a soda, which I do miss.

  6. as long as there is no sugar you will be just fine :]

  7. I've been drinking Lipton's Diet Green Ice Tea, and it's absolutely delicious!  It has no carbohydrates or sugar.

  8. If you use sweet and low or splenda.
